My name is Tracy, and my oldest daughter Mariah is a survivor of domestic violence.

For years, she lived in silence, fear, and isolation. Behind closed doors, she endured emotional, physical, and psychological abuse from someone who was supposed to love her. She lost her voice, her confidence, and for a long time, she felt like she had no way out.

But she found the strength to leave. The strength after being attacked and left unconscious. She gathered up two bags at 3 a.m. with her 2 year old son Grayson and drove away to safety. With the help and loving support of her family, she and Grayson her son left the state and are safe with the support of her family.

Leaving was the hardest and most terrifying decision she has ever made — but it was also the most courageous. She left with nothing but a bag of essentials and the hope for a safer future for herself and her precious son. She is currently rebuilding her life from the ground up: securing housing, seeking therapy, and trying to heal from the trauma she has carried for far too long.

I am sharing her story not for sympathy, but for support. We are asking for help as she works toward stability — covering basic needs like rent, childcare, counseling, and legal assistance. Every donation, no matter how small, brings her one step closer to reclaiming her independence and peace.
