Hello! I’m Vickie Cross Ashley. I’m Margery Raplee Johns’ momma. Marg, her husband, Jake, and their three sons: Jason(13), Owen(9) and Glenn(5) are in need of financial help. I’m sure you all have been reading posts I’ve put on Facebook about Marg. Within the last year she’s had 3 surgeries on her right foot. Well a week ago she had to have her lower part of her right leg amputated. She was hospitalized for a week and now has been moved Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital for approx. three to five weeks. And not sure if she’ll be off work anytime after she’s released from here. So Marg will be off work for a possible total of two months. We all know that it takes two incomes now a days to keep a household and bills up. Especially a family of five. Marg had four bypass open heart surgery last year and is now in Stage 4 Renal Failure. Her Nephrologist (kidney doctor) is watching her closely. Her kidney function is only at 13% and her creatinine keeps creeping up. They have discussed dialysis options and are just hoping her numbers don’t change where they would have to start dialysis. I’m asking everyone to open their hearts to donate to Marg and her family. They are in desperate need. Also prayers and good karma. If anyone wants to visit Marge at LRRH she is in Room 211. Stop at the desk at the front entrance to sign in a get a visitor pass sticker.
