Help Launch MY ArtSpace – A Creative Sanctuary for Merced Teens

Hi, I’m Rosie Campagna, founder and Executive Director of

MY ArtSpace (Merced Youth Art Space) ~ a nonprofit initiative in Merced, CA created to give high school teens (ages 14–18) a safe, inspiring space to create, connect, and discover who they are through art and community.

We're building a dedicated creative hub where teens can:

Experiment with various art forms and mediums {like resin arts, alternative photography, wood burning, bookmaking, puppetry, suminagashi (Japanese marbling "ink on water"), fashion, food, music and more}

️ Access supplies and open studio time after school

Collaborate with mentors and guest artists at Saturday workshops

Share their work through youth-led exhibitions and events

️ Explore creativity without pressure, grades, or judgment

This isn’t a traditional program. It’s a platform for expression, innovation, and community-building. And we need your help to bring it to life.

What We're Fundraising For

We're in the early stages of development—building from the ground up. Every donation helps us:

Secure a physical location

Cover startup costs (insurance, nonprofit fees, utilities)

Purchase art tables, chairs, and storage

Stock up on creative supplies (resin, paints, wood, cement, etc.)

Provide snacks + a welcoming environment for teens

Fund signage, outreach materials, and pop-up events

We’re committed to transparency every step of the way. Donations will be tracked and shared with the public as we grow.

Suggested Giving Levels

$25 – Supplies for one teen for a week

$50 – Helps us host a creative pop-up event

$100 – Sponsors a teen’s monthly access to workshops and materials

$250 – Funds a full art table setup

$500+ – Become a Founding Supporter (recognized in our future space)
