*MEDICAL UPDATE 03/14/25:

Hello everyone, we still have not heard back from the Mayo Clinic yet. We are preparing for Kirsti to come home in the meantime and be around family and out of the hospital. We are currently buying the supplies needed to help her while she is at home. She is in good spirits and very excited to be back home soon. She still has a long road ahead and isn't mobile yet. We ask that you please keep sharing her story and thank you again to everyone who has donated, prayed, and keeps us in your thoughts! We appreciate all of you! Kirsti had some hard news today. We aren't giving up hope, but she was denied a liver transplant here in Utah. We are sending information to the Mayo Clinic in phoenix to see if that is a possibility. As soon as we hear anything we will let you know. Thank you to everyone for all the prayers, donations, dinners, and support. We love you all.

*MEDICAL and FAMILY UPDATE 02/11/25:

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who has donated, shared, prayed, and sent love to Kirsti and our family. Your kindness and generosity have been truly overwhelming, and we are beyond grateful for the outpouring of support.

Kirsti remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as she continues to fight with incredible strength. Her liver disease has now led to kidney failure, and she is undergoing dialysis to support her body. She is conscious and able to communicate, but due to her condition and the medications, she struggles to stay alert for long periods. Despite everything, Kirsti knows how deeply she is loved. We have shared with her and Jake the incredible generosity, prayers, and support from all of you, and they are so grateful.

On behalf of Kirsti, her husband Jake, and our entire family, we cannot thank you enough. Your continued love, prayers, and support mean the world to us. Please keep Kirsti in your thoughts as she bravely fights this battle. (Side note: Thank you aunt Anita Martinez for materializing our thoughts in such an expressive way. We appreciate you ❤️)

We are feeling the love and support by so many that love and know my sister and her little family. She is hanging in there and I will be seeing her tomorrow.

02/09/25: Hello everyone, we wanted to keep my sister's health a private matter. Unfortunately in this day and age there are no secrets. My sister, Kirsti Handley, has been in and out of the hospital battling liver disease. She has been putting up a great fight and has a LOT of loving support from family and friends, especially her devoted husband Jacob Handley and our loving parents Michelle and Marshall Boulware. We don't have many answers, everyday is a roller coaster, but we have felt all the prayers being sent our way and only ask to donate if you can. Things are tough for everyone right now and we are not asking to take away anything you need for yourself and family. If all you can do is say a prayer then we will take it. We appreciate every one of you and we are feeling the love and ongoing support. At this time she is currently in the hospital. She has been in and out for about 3-4 weeks now. Some good days and some bad. I will also be setting up a donation for her and Jake at America First tomorrow and I will update once that is done.
