Hello, my name is Kim Smith. I am doing this fundraiser for a good friend and coworker and her husband. His name is John Petruna and has been diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme. This is a an aggressive form of brain cancer. Due to the severity and progression his amazing wife whose name is Renee, who is a nurse, has had to take off work to care for him and even when she does try to work has had to leave to go home. This is a disease that changes who you are and he needs her home with him. She is an amazing lady who has helped many people in their time of need and not thinking twice.
