Hi! My name is Katie and I am asking for your help. My husband, Travis, was hospitalized in May for respiratory failure. He spent nearly a month in the Progressive Care Unit of our local hospital before being discharged home.

Travis is on continuous oxygen, uses a walker, and is unable to leave the house except for doctor's appointments. We have never been well off, but have had enough to cover our expenses. Since he cannot work, our bills are becoming harder to pay each month. After my sister passed away from a heart attack in 2022, Travis and I became guardians of our niece. It is important for us to be able to provide for her until he is able to work again or receive disability. Disability in SC now takes almost two years to be approved!
