On January 13, I had a knock at my door. I had the pleasure of meeting a nice lady by the name of Gerry Tadlock. She is an 86-year-old ball of energy. She was looking for work to make $20 for some food. After talking with her, I came to find out that she has no living relatives in Spokane. My young son and I provided her with some cash and some food. We decided to drive her home so she wouldn’t have to walk out in the cold. She’s a delightful woman who unfortunately is in need. When we dropped her off at her front door, I noticed that her house has seen better days. I couldn’t get her out of my thoughts as I tried to go to sleep. I’m hoping to bless her with a little bit of cash so she doesn’t endure the elements this winter. I was raised by my grandparents and I am a grandma‘s boy through and through. Maybe that’s why this one hits close to home for me. If you have a little bit to donate, I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a video of our interaction on my ring camera.
