Help Pay Off Johnstown’s School Lunch Balances and Build an Ongoing Fund

Hi everyone. My name is Amanda and I am organizing this fundraiser for families right here in our Johnstown community.

Right now, our schools have approximately 1,100 dollars in unpaid student lunch balances. For some families, especially those with multiple kids, these charges stack up quickly and quietly. No child should ever feel embarrassed or worried about lunch and no parent should have to choose between paying a bill or making sure their child eats.

My goal is simple.

1. Pay off the entire 1,100 dollar balance by Thanksgiving.

This will give families a clean slate heading into the holiday season.

2. Create a small ongoing Lunch Love Fund.

This fund will stay available throughout the school year to quietly and respectfully help any child who falls behind on lunch money in the future. It ensures that no kid ever faces lunch debt or lunch shame again.

I will be personally facilitating all payments directly with the school district food services to ensure transparency and accuracy. Updates and receipts will be posted so everyone can see exactly where the money goes.

Even small donations add up quickly. Five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars. It all makes a difference.
