Hello, my name is Joel Luna. I am a bilingual elementary teacher at Cy-Fair ISD in Houston, Texas.

On August 6th, 2025, I suffered a brain stroke that almost cost my life. Ever since, I have been recovering slowly thanks to people who have been praying for my health. I have been in the ICU at a hospital, two rehabilitation centers, and now in a nursing home receiving care and therapies.

My need to pay for medical and home bills is huge. I might not be able to return to work any time soon, so I am asking for your generosity and kindness to help me overcome many economic barriers.
