<div>Hello, my name is Joel Luna. I am a bilingual elementary teacher at Cy-Fair ISD in Houston, Texas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On August 6th, 2025, <strong>I suffered a brain stroke that almost cost my life.</strong> Ever since, I have been recovering slowly thanks to people who have been praying for my health. I have been in the ICU at a hospital, two rehabilitation centers, and now in a nursing home receiving care and therapies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>My need to pay for medical and home bills is huge.</strong> I might not be able to return to work any time soon, so I am asking for your generosity and kindness to help me overcome many economic barriers.
</div>
<div>Sincerely,
</div>
<div><br />

<div>Joel Luna
