On July 27, my beautiful sister Jenny was a victim of a horrific and senseless act of violence.

She suffered severe burns on her hands, arms, and stomach after she was pushed into a firepit during an argument with her (soon-to-be ex) husband. She was immediately life-flighted to Essentia in Duluth, where she spent two weeks in the hospital and underwent multiple skin graft surgeries to treat her 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-degree burns.

We are beyond grateful that she is healing, but the road to recovery is long. Jenny is unable to work right now due to her injuries. With no income coming in, it’s been very hard for her and her girls to keep up with daily expenses. We want to make sure she and her girls have the support they need during her recovery.
