Hi, my name is James Green. I am a local musician from Murphysboro, Illinois. I’m sure some people may laugh at me, and I’ve never done something like this because, as a man, we’re just supposed to make it happen, but lately, I’ve been going through a lot financially.

I’m a single father of 4 amazing children, and I actually have custody of 3/4. With that being, things sometimes get rough. I’ve recently been threatened to get put out of my home (that I’m renting to own) due to being behind on my house payment. My light bill is over $2,000 (which they haven’t shut off yet, thankfully). I just recently spent $400 in repairs for my vehicle, and then another much bigger problem starts with it. There’s a lot more issues that I’m also dealing with, such as clothing, and much more. But to sum it all up, I’m just at a point of not feeling like I can climb out of.

I’m self-employed; I own my own videography company (music videos, parties, weddings, etc.), and I’m also a tattoo artist, but unfortunately, when trying to launch an independent company, it’s not always easy and lucrative at times. This is the very first time that I’ve ever fallen this low. Anyone that knows me knows I’ll literally help anyone anytime I’m able to, no problem, but this is a time where I’m truthfully just needing some kind of a boost to get life back on track for my children’s sake.

I apologize in advance for even asking for help. I’m a man that is literally swallowing my pride right now because I just know that there are kind people in this world that would possibly be willing to help a single father that’s trying my best. If you’re someone who doesn’t have it to help or has kids of your own, PLEASE don’t feel obligated to help me. I completely understand that it’s rough on all of us at these times, but to those who are fortunate enough to extend a helping hand, I will appreciate anything you can do to help. Also, I’m not expecting a handout either; I’m also willing to work for people as well. So even if you don’t wanna just donate to me, book me.
