Donate to Jaime Elizondo's Health Recovery
Hello, my name is Diana, I am Jaime Elizondo's sister. We are both lifelong residents of Prunedale, moving here in 1977 with our parents when we were both in grade school at Elkhorn.
Many of you may remember Jaime as the garden shop and photo dept manager at the original Payless Drugs from 1989, (then Rite Aid & Long's Drug Store) on Vierra Cyn. He was the "watch repair guy" that everyone came to for their watch needs. He later left the drug store business and put in a few years at Super Maxx.
I'm reaching out here because my brother has been dealing with some major health issues in recent months. He was hospitalized a few times over the past few months for various health issues, had a partial foot amputation and is now in complete kidney failure. He will require further treatment, (dialysis) and was recently placed on the kidney transplant list. We were told THIS is a big waiting game, and may take years to get the call for a new kidney.
He has a lot more going on health wise, so the doctors feel that Jaime needs to be closely monitored with frequent nurse visits at home.
Our issue is that his MEDICAL BILLS are piling up and his disability income barely covers.much. So we are reaching out to friends, family and our community for any assistance that they may be able to offer him.
We greatly appreciate any help and we THANK YOU all in advance for your kindness and generosity.
Much love,
The Elizondo Family
