Hi, my name is Lola and I’m working on an English project focused on solving real problems in our community. I’m choosing to take action on an issue that affects millions of people: the high cost of insulin.

Too many people in the US struggle to afford the insulin they need to stay alive. No one should have to choose between paying rent and staying alive. That’s why I’m raising money for Insulin for Life USA, a non-profit organization that provides free lifesaving insulin and diabetes supplies to people in need.

The main reason I chose this project is because my Mom is a type one diabetic and I have seen how diabetic necessities, including insulin, has impacted our family and caused occasional hardships.

My goal is to raise awareness and make a real impact by supporting an organization that helps people in need. Every dollar donated goes toward helping someone access the insulin they can’t afford.
