Provide life changing surgery for a child

Please join HTCNJ in making a difference! We are sending a team of 15 medical volunteers to Santiago, DR, August 9 - 16, 2025, on a pediatric ophthalmology surgical mission. Led by Dr. Bruce Schnall, Dr. Brian Forbes, and Dr. Jay Calesnick, the team will screen children on Clinic Day and perform up to 70 surgeries during the weeklong mission. Serving as a mobile hospital, our volunteers travel with everything needed to outfit two operating rooms and sustain a full week of surgeries. We are raising money to offset the cost of medical supplies that we are unable to obtain from medical clearing houses.

Healing the Children New Jersey is a non-profit that provides free medical care and services to children locally and globally through three unique programs: Medical Teams Abroad, International Inbound, and Brighter Futures NJ.
