The world's largest annual LGBTQIA+ aquatics championship (IGLA+) is coming to Washington, DC this year and we need your help!

DC's premier queer-friendly swim and water polo teams, the District of Columbia Aquatics Club and the Washington DSeahorses, are proudly organizing this year's IGLA+ 2025 DC.

The IGLA+ 2025 Championship is the 39th annual international premier aquatics event that promotes LGBTQIA+ athletes and their allies in world class swimming, open water swimming, water polo, diving, and artistic swimming competition. This year's championship will bring together over 1,000 athletes from 30+ countries to compete in a week-long celebration of sport, inclusivity, and LGBTQIA+ visibility. The championship and related festivities not only celebrate athletic achievement but also promote community, equality, and acceptance.
