Hi, my name is Mikeal, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my incredible son, Henry, a bright and determined young adult with high-functioning autism.
We’re asking for your help to raise $20,000 so he can attend the NextWork Academy for Autistic Adults in Salt Lake City — a life-changing residential program that will give him the skills, support, and confidence to live independently and thrive.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Like many young adults on the autism spectrum, Henry has worked incredibly hard to navigate a world that doesn’t always understand him. He’s intelligent, kind, and capable — but transitioning to independent adult life has unique challenges.
He’s been accepted into the NextWork Academy, a highly supportive program that helps young neurodiverse adults learn critical life skills, prepare for employment, and build toward independence in a structured and safe environment.
This is a rare opportunity — and one we simply can’t afford alone.
What Your Donation Supports
Your gift will help cover one full year at NextWork, including:
✅ Tuition for life and job skills training
✅ Supportive housing in a supervised apartment community
✅ One-on-one coaching and mentorship
✅ Employment readiness and job placement services
✅ Daily living needs like groceries, supplies, and transportation
Total Goal: $20,000
Every dollar helps us get closer to giving Henry the future he deserves.
