Hello, my name is Emily Dia. Unfortunately, my Father suddenly passed away this month, leaving me, my mother, and two brothers without a stable source of income. In these incredibly difficult times, we are trying to cover funeral costs and final expenses, as well as living expenses for my mother and youngest brother, until our situation becomes more stable.

My oldest brother is working two jobs. I am currently in college and in between jobs working toward becoming a CPA, and my youngest brother is in college full-time pursuing a career in computer science. I will not have a stable source of income until October 2023. I, my youngest brother, and my mother were reliant on my Father's income. Additionally, my mother will be left without health insurance or retirement.

We are all looking for work and will be assessing the situation with social services soon. Any amount that could help with final expenses or my mother's living expenses would be so greatly appreciated. About my Dad

My father immigrated from Asia at a young age and did not even know English. He had to learn English and support himself at the age of 15 years old by himself after dropping out of high school. He worked his whole life to give us what he did not have. He wanted to give us a future where we could attend college and provide for ourselves like he always wanted. He had a career as a Diesel Mechanic after attending Wallace State Community College. He worked and went to school while raising three kids. He gave us everything he had in life. We will miss him so very much.
