Hi, my name is Maritza and I’m fundraising for my family. On February 14, 2023 I had an emergency c section at 33 weeks pregnant. During my pregnancy I had severe preeclampsia which went undiagnosed and caused my placenta to detach. During birth we both almost lost our lives he was born not breathing but the nurses were able to get him breathing. My baby was at the NICU in Flagstaff where they saw swelling in the brain and he got transferred to Banner Children in Mesa, Az. After further testing he went into surgery today (3/8) and got a reservoir tap put in. With this procedure he will be in the hospital for atleast 1 more month. Our goal with the funds is to spend on our bills and rent and be able to stay near him the whole time he is in the hospital.
