Fighting For Safer Foundations Project CIC was created to support people facing some of the most difficult and frightening moments of their lives.

Every week, we meet individuals and families who are at immediate risk of homelessness. This includes people leaving prison with nowhere safe to go, families breaking down due to conflict, and survivors of domestic abuse forced to flee their homes with little more than the clothes they are wearing.

Without fast support, many of these individuals face rough sleeping, unsafe temporary arrangements, or returning to dangerous situations simply because they have nowhere else to turn.

We step in at that critical moment.

Our organisation works to prevent homelessness before it happens by helping people secure safe accommodation, providing mediation to prevent family breakdown, and supporting survivors of domestic abuse to rebuild their lives in safety. We also help people leaving prison access stable housing, giving them a real chance to reintegrate and avoid reoffending.

But as a new community organisation, our resources are limited — and the need is growing every day.

Essential household items like beds, cookers, and fridges

Practical support for survivors of domestic abuse and people starting over after prison
