Hello all, my name is Jamie Woody,the following is my request for help.

Our physical and mental health is literally our lifeblood, it’s what keeps us thriving and living our lives to the fullest. When our health is threatened by weight and unhealthy habits/eating/diet, it begins to hinder how we live and wreaks havoc on our physical and mental health.

The reason I am appealing to you all, is that I have a twin brother that I love more than I can put into words. He has had medical issues (heart disease and other issues) these past several years that have shaken me to the bone with concern. I believe, that most of his issues have been brought on by stress, obesity, and unhealthy eating habits.

I too have fallen into an unhealthy eating habit; no health issues to mention though. My story began with 25 years of military service which kept me in a “stay healthy lifestyle”. However, retirement and 12 years later I began to slow down (around the time Covid hit) and lose sight of my fitness. Approximately six weeks ago I started a healthy habits program called Optavia. In six weeks, I have lost 26 pounds and gained confidence that I can change my life to live healthier and better. I still have about 30 more pounds I want to lose and have no fear that I will be able to achieve my goal.

Here is where you can help, (I hope he does not anger for me doing this, but I do it because I love him and want him to be around for many more years) he can not afford the cost of the program. I am trying to raise enough funds to take care of him (under the program) for four months to include getting him started on additional food items required to get him underway.
