Castlebar Music Festival (Castlebar Summer Fest) is organised by a small group of local volunteers with the goal to create a new and unique music festival that pays homage to past events in Castlebar, such as The Blues Festival and The Occasion at the Castle. This new festival will combine the best aspects of these events into a fresh, vibrant celebration of music and community. The festival will be a free music event in Castlebar, featuring the two renowned tribute acts IE/DC and Springsteen - A Tribute, as headliners on Sunday along with a mix of new and established local talent. There will also be music in various venues on Friday and Saturday night. This initiative aims to:

• Bring the community together.

• Promote local musicians and businesses.

• Provide a platform for music enthusiasts to enjoy high-quality entertainment at no cost.

But it costs a lot of money to put on such an event, so we need your help in raising funds and las. While we are actively fundraising, searching for sponsors, applying for grants, we need you to get behind us too and help us put on an event that will do our community proud.
