The Interact group from Rhinebeck High School is a dedicated team of teenagers sponsored by the local Rotary Club, who travel to Central America each year to carry out meaningful community service projects in underserved areas. Their efforts focus on improving local infrastructure, education, and sustainability. This year, the group will be heading to Guatemala, where they will build a fence and establishing a community garden to promote food security, as well as painting a school that serves children with autism and Down syndrome — continuing their tradition of hands-on global service and compassion.
