On Thanksgiving night my sister, her husband, and their four beautiful girls lost their home in a house fire. They are incredibly thankful to be safe and they are incredibly touched and grateful for the kindness that has already been shown. So many people have reached out with prayers, support, and donations. Their community has truly come together in this difficult moment (including the girls’ elementary school, which has gone above and beyond to help). The love and generosity already shown has brought comfort during this time.

This has been an overwhelming and heartbreaking time for their family. They are trying to stay strong for their kids while navigating the reality of having to replace every basic necessity while trying to replace what they thought would be their “forever home.”
