Hello!
Our names are Junicia and Rephael. We are siblings and members of the South England Conference Seventh-day Adventist Church. This August, we have the incredible opportunity to volunteer on a mission trip with other young people, working to uplift communities in the city of Divo, Ivory Coast.
Many people in this area are struggling with limited resources and we want to make a lasting impact by improving their schools, healthcare, and daily lives.
As volunteers, we will be:
- renovating four rooms in the local primary school to create better learning spaces (library, nursery, canteen and a classroom).
- providing donated computers to equip the school's computer lab.
- building a much-needed Health Centre to improve access to medical care.
- organising a community health expo to offer free wellness checks and health tips.
- visiting a hospital to bring comfort and care to individuals with disabilities.
- donating clothes and school supplies to families that need them.
We cannot do this alone. Your donation - no matter how big or small - will help bring hope and transformation to Divo.
