Kyle and Emily Hicks are parents of three. Recently, their family was involved in a crash that totaled their only vehicle. Public records show the other driver was serving as an Assistant District Attorney at the time and is now charged in connection with the incident and for allegedly leaving the scene.

At the same time, their 10-year-old daughter, Maci, had been very sick. She went through testing, has since been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, and both parents have missed work to be with her, get her to appointments, and adjust to her treatment. Their savings have been stretched to the limit, and losing their only vehicle has made everything harder.
