Heroes Remembered Never Die -Officer Peter Jerving
Donation protected
On February 7, 2023, Officer Peter Jerving lost his life in the line of duty. Peter was shot in an attempt to arrest a robbery suspect at 1:16 am near Cleveland Ave and 14th Street in the Southside of Milwaukee, later succumbing to his wounds at Froedtert Hospital.
Peter Jerving, only 37, had been serving our community with the Milwaukee Police Department for the past four years. He leaves to mourn his parents, six siblings, long-time significant other, and his entire District. My coworkers and I at Andrew Chevrolet are all greatly saddened by this unfortunate situation. Although we did not know him personally, his story has broken our hearts and we would love to support in some way. A good life that was dedicated to serving our people was cut far too short.
We have decided to start a fundraiser in honor of this great Milwaukee officer our community has just lost. Besides this GoFundMe for easier access to many of our customers, we will also be hosting sweets and treats sale and other items at the dealership (starting 02/15 until the end of the month).
Our mission is to show love and support to Officer Peter Jerving and law enforcement. We would greatly appreciate consideration for any amount of donations to help his family during this difficult time.
Funds raised will go to his family directly through his partner and best friends, James Jeffrey and Julia Ann. A portion of these same funds raised will also go to the Tunnels of Towers Foundation in support of surviving families of American heroes.
For any questions, or if you would prefer to make an in-person donation, feel free to contact Erika Herrera or Michael Rivas at Andrew Chevrolet.
