There is an small village in Gambia called Kemoto. These people are in lack of a lot of things.

Please help to give them clean drinking water, fix the roof at the school and improve the environment for the kids. Also lets try to make the living a little bit more easy for all the people in this remote area by helping them get better facilities in the whole village. This is an 100% non-profit fundraiser, every penny will going to the community of Kemoto.

Until today 18.11.25 There have come an total of 91 211,-,- NOK donated.

Martin Augestad Larsen set sail from Porsgrunn 20.10.25 with Odin full of supplies. School equipment, toys, clothes, tools, solar and water pump for the well.

Unfortunatly Odin broke his mast 05.11.25 Martin therefore had to seek emergency port. After rigging and jury rig Martin sailed Odin for 3,5 days the 317nm it was to land. Everything is OK with the donated things that is carried onboard. But Odin need an new mast before he can continue sailing. Hopefully this will be in place first week of desember. Even though this is an major disaster for Martin personally. It will have no impact on the project in Kemoto, Gambia what so ever. The project continue as planned. As soon as Odin arrives Martin will build the new roof on the school. And install the new water pump for the village.

Todays well is 4" wide and 38m deep. Unfortunatly it runs nearly dry during dry season. We there fore wish to make an new deeper 6" well. To make sure the whole Kemoto stays fed with drinking water the 365 days a year.

To make this deeper well is quite expensive. Estimated between 150 000-200 000,-NOK. We sincerely hope that we together can make this happen.
