Hello, my dear friend, tragically passed away on October 17, 2026, during a training accident at CFB Wainwright. Multiple people were killed, and he was among them. Hayden and I were friends before we went to the army. We went to high school together and played rugby. We both joined the army at the same time and were fortunate enough to be in the same platoon for basic training. That’s where he became more than just a friend; he became a brother. He was always looking out for everyone and always kept himself in check. The staff and all the other soldiers liked him. After basic training, Hayden went on to infantry school, and that’s where we parted ways. However, we still kept in touch. With his family’s permission, I’ve created this GoFundMe to support them during this difficult time. Anything you can donate is welcome.
