Hi, i'm Billie and I am hoping continue to raise money for Rosamund and her family during this difficult and unpredictable time.

Rosamund has just turned 8. She is a bright, adventurous and deeply loved little girl from the Georgeham and Croyde community in North Devon, known for her love of nature, travel and her joyful, infectious smile.

On 13 November 2025, Rosamund was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, alongside Flu B and other serious viral infections. That same night, she was rushed to Bristol Children’s Hospital to begin urgent chemotherapy.

Since then, she has faced every day with extraordinary courage. Two intensive rounds of chemotherapy have not brought the results doctors had hoped for. A different treatment is now being tried, and what happens next depends entirely on how her body responds. If this is not successful, further options — potentially international clinical trials — may need to be explored. So much remains uncertain, and her condition continues to change.

Because of your incredible generosity, Rosamund’s grandparents have now been able to travel from Australia to be by her side. This has meant more than words can express. To see them together — to feel that circle of love close around her — is something your kindness has made possible. You truly have made a difference.

Simon and Hera are now living full-time in Bristol, 2.5 hours from home, so they can remain with Rosamund every moment. They may need to move to London, or wherever this journey takes them next, depending on treatment. Hera is unable to work, and Simon has reduced his work by 80% while still trying to keep up with essential household bills. Now, with Rosamund’s grandparents here too, the family are united around her — but the financial and practical pressures are growing as this continues.

Our new goal is to ensure that Rosamund’s grandparents can stay for as long as she needs them here. There is no clear timeline. Accommodation and living costs in Bristol — and potentially elsewhere — are significant. At the same time, as Rosamund’s medical situation evolves, having the option to pursue alternative or international treatments, if recommended, may require additional funding at short notice.

We want to make sure that decisions about Rosamund’s care are guided by what is best for her — not by financial limitations.
