Hello Everyone, my name is Aaron and I'm a class 12 students at the South Devon Steiner School. At the beginning of class 12 we are all assigned the task of choosing something that interests us and work towards a certain goal concerning that subject so that we may then present it as a presentation at the end of the year at the class 12 presentations.

Recently I have been getting into running, so I thought to myself this project would be the perfect opportunity to get into it more and learn about the sport. I have set myself the challenging task of running a marathon across Dartmoor on the 12th of April. Leading up to this marathon I have set gradually harder goals of 10k's, night run's, a triathlon and a half marathon. The half marathon takes place in Bath on the 15th of March.

I am super glad that I've been given the chance to do this and have decided that I want to do something good with opportunity, so I have set up a fundraiser aiming to collect £250 to raise for family's with ill children. The organisation I will be running for is called Rainbow Trust Children's Charity.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity supports families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Their Family Support Workers become a trusted part of the family providing help wherever and whenever it is needed, without fail. They can be the difference between coping with the serious illness of your child, and your family falling apart.
