Hi, my name is Danae,
I come from Greece and I’m currently in Arusha, Tanzania, volunteering through Meditrip at a psychology and mental health clinic.
I had the chance to visit Venerate Orphanage — a non-profit organization founded in January 2018 by Pastor Evelina Maliaki. The orphanage is dedicated to supporting orphans and vulnerable children by providing education through sponsorships, food, shelter, clothing, and, most importantly, a safe place to call home.
Their mission is to help these children grow into independent and productive members of society. Venerate has made a real impact in the community by rescuing children from a range of difficult backgrounds.
What they do at the orphanage:
- Provide education to the children
- Meet their basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing
- Offer a safe environment for children to play and grow happily
- Care for the children physically and spiritually, helping them grow into responsible individuals
They welcome all the support they can get, and every contribution makes a difference.
Through this fundraiser, I hope we can raise enough to help cover some of their most urgent needs and support the amazing work they do every day.
