Donate to help pay for IVF for Alexa & Brenda

Hi, my name is Olivia, and I'm making a gofund me for my sister Lex and her wife, Brenda.

They got married last June and just before that, they bought their dream home. Now, all they want is to start their family. They would be the most loving and caring parents, but unfortunately, it's not so easy for them to have a baby.

Alexa wrote something as well:

Hi, my name is Alexa, and my wife's name is Brenda. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we had to start by purchasing sperm. We tried to conceive with Intrauterine Insemination, also known as IUI. After eight tries costing us roughly $12,000 in total, we were still not successful. Each month I would take a pregnancy test and each month we would feel a loss that is not often talked about from that failed attempt. A loss of what could have been. We would move on and try again for a positive result the next month, but have continued to have no success.

After completing multiple tests, our doctor said that everything came back normal. However, I do show some signs of endometriosis. The recommended next steps for someone with possible endometriosis is to proceed with IVF. IVF is a very costly procedure that my health insurance does not cover. We so very much want to be moms. My wife works two jobs and I am in the process of finding a second job too. Anything anyone can provide will help us towards being parents.
