Jaron Lee Roe (a powerhouse Musician and Vocalist) and his 70 year old Father Everett Roe lived in Southern Illinois. They lived in a small house but it had a lot of love. In 2021, Jaron was cooking and running errands for his late Mother Carmen Roe who was battling stage 4 bone cancer. She would eventually pass away from the disease on June 20, 2022. In August of 2025 the family home that was built in the 1950s had severe wiring issues that almost caught the house on fire. The electricians told Jaron and his Father that it was unsafe to live in.

Jaron and his Father visited his 90 year old Grandmother Frieda Roe who had a one-bedroom apartment in Marion, Kentucky. They both got an apartment right across the street from her. Jaron and his Father would get up in the mornings and take her blood sugar, give her insulin shots, cook for her, and do tasks as needed. A new neighbor who recently moved next door smoked cigarettes and does marijuana outside of the apartment. Jaron has severe allergies, asthma, and eczema. She would be away from the apartment but not enough that the smoke would blow near Jaron. Jaron’s Father had told the landlord about the problem as it was against the rules of the apartment. The neighbor would have all sorts of women and men on different hours of the day and night. She also would slam the door to go outside at every hour of the night. The environment was not safe. The neighbor talked about an incident with her vehicle years ago where she told Jaron’s Father that she wanted the person dead. That put fear in him and Jaron that the apartment was no longer safe to inhabit. Also, before that incident, Jaron and his Father went to the laundry mat to wash clothes with his Aunt Tina. A repairman took out someone’s clothes and a guy came in and accused Jaron of taking his girlfriend’s clothes. The repairman told the man that he did and not Jaron. The man called Jaron, his Father, and the repairman racial slurs that are targeted towards the African American community. Jaron was deeply offended as a son of his late Puerto Rican Mother. Jaron and his Father were already in fear for their lives in Marion, Kentucky before the incident with the neighbor.

Jaron’s Grandmother had fluid in her lungs and had to be taken to a hospital where they removed the fluid from her lungs. She had to be put into a nursing facility for rehabilitation for 20 days. Jaron and his Father were staying at the one-bedroom apartment because they no longer felt safe at their own apartment. Jaron’s Grandmother’s rent was payed for the month by Aunt Tina and Jaron’s Father payed his own family rent for the month too. The same day the rent was payed, the landlord found out Jaron and his Father were staying at their Grandmother’s apartment. She gave them an ultimatum to either leave the apartment and go back to theirs (where they told the landlord that it was unsafe) or to leave the apartment complex. So Jaron and his Father told her that they would leave the complex. Jaron’s Father gets Social Security pension monthly. Most of his pension was spent on the rent. So Jaron and his Father became homeless since November 5, 2025, living in their vehicle. Jaron also had to sell one of his most precious guitars in order to pay for food and gas. Jaron’s Grandmother also had to move out of her one-bedroom apartment because of Jaron and his Father having to leave the apartment. His Grandmother no longer had anyone to be with her. Therefore, she was forced to live in a nursing home.

Jaron and his Father asked for a three-bedroom apartment alongside Jaron's Grandmother, but the landlord never made a way for them and kicked them out. Any help you can give to support Jaron and his 70 year old Father would mean the world to them. They have no place to live as they were forced out immediately and they haven’t been able to afford a place to live due to Jaron’s Father’s Social Security paycheck already taken away. While being homeless, Jaron’s Father’s ankels have been swollen due to being in the vehicle and eating cheap food such as Vienna sausage and potted meat with bread and crackers. Any help would be much appreciated in their trying time in life. And your donating funds will greatly help Jaron and his Father to get back on their feet. Every little bit helps as they say. ❤️
