Support Phoenix Rising Arts community and empower wellbeing

Thank you so much for reading our story:
For over 15 years, our local ceramics charity was a lifeline for our community a hub where people could connect, create, and support one another. This space was vital for a diverse group of individuals, including those who face challenges such as mental or physical health difficulties, learning differences, social isolation, or caregiving responsibilities. When the charity unexpectedly closed, our community was left without a safe, welcoming space and without access to the art that has been so important to our wellbeing.

Out of that loss, Phoenix Rising Arts was born. Our mission is to keep this essential creative community alive and accessible. We aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive space with low cost, flexible pricing so that art remains affordable for everyone.

Through our sessions, we hope to empower our members, many of whom face financial hardship or barriers to participation, by offering opportunities to build skills, boost confidence, improve wellbeing, and even showcase their artwork at local events. Donations help us cover materials, equipment, and running costs, so we can continue providing this safe, creative space for all.

Why We Need Your Support:
We are in the initial stages of setting up Phoenix Rising Arts as a non profit social enterprise, but right now, we have no financial backing. We are starting from scratch, relying purely on the goodwill of our community.
We are reaching out to local communities and anyone who can contribute to help us raise vital startup funds. Every donation will go directly towards essential costs to get our doors open from venue rental fees, ceramic resources, equipment, kiln fees, firing the artwork, hosting workshops, classes, and events.
Your contribution is more than just a donation, it is an investment in mental wellbeing, community connection, and accessible art.
Please donate today and help us rise! Please share our story with your network. We are also welcoming new members to join us.
Thank you for your support!
Our first goal:
We would love to reach £250 as our first fundraising achievement step.
Our local Artist Christmas Market Event:
Please note that this event on the 29th November has been cancelled due to lack of funding, support and illness.
