Our Family Needs a Helping Hand

I truly hate to reach out like this, but our family is struggling more than we ever imagined. This year, we took a big leap of faith and moved to Florida for a fresh start. We believed it would be the best chance to heal, rebuild, and create a brighter future for our family.

Before our move, I was struggling deeply with mental illness and chronic pain. Those challenges forced me onto disability, which put a huge strain on us financially. We hoped that relocating would ease some of those burdens and allow us to get back on our feet.

Unfortunately, the reality has been far harder than we ever expected. In the rush to move—after being told by our old landlord to leave within 30 days—we lost a lot and spent everything we had trying to start over. Now, despite all our efforts, we’ve reached a point where we can’t even afford basic groceries.

It’s humbling, and honestly very hard, to put our pride aside and ask for help. But we’re drowning in debt and can’t see another way forward. Any donation—no matter how small—would be a blessing to us as we try to get through this difficult time and build the future we hoped for.

We’re still holding onto hope. We believe that this tough season won’t last forever, and that with the kindness of others, we’ll be able to get back on our feet. Our dream is simple—to find stability, to see our kids happy and secure, and to continue working toward a better life here in Florida.
