We are members of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 535, in Nevada County, California. We have spent a lifetime serving others, and today we are asking for your help to continue that mission. Your donation will directly support three important programs to make a lasting difference in the lives of veterans, students, and children.

1. Many veterans of all ages face unexpected hardships outside the scope of traditional social services and veteran assistance programs. And we are asked periodically to help provide emergency support for veterans and their families with immediate critical needs. We are collecting needed funds to ensure that those who served our nation are not forgotten or left behind.

2. Our U.S. Army Lt. Harold Graves Scholarship program helps qualified high school students pursue higher education while preparing for dedicated careers serving in military, law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical services, or other public safety professions. We ask you to help invest in the next generation of leaders and protectors.

3. Our VVA Chapter 535 also provides assistance to orphanages located in the Central Highlands among the Montagnard tribespeople of Vietnam. These orphanages house, feed, care for, and educate up to 800 children from toddlers through high school, providing them with safe homes, education, vocational training, and hope for a brighter future. Your gifts will help ensure these children develop skills and have successful lives.

Every donation—large or small—will help us meet these important needs, so we can continue our mission. We are asking you to donate whatever you can, and share this campaign with your family, friends, and community. Thank you for your support and generosity. We are an IRS 501(c)(19) non-profit organization, so your gift may be tax deductible.
