Hello, my name is Manuel and I’m raising funds to help my father’s ongoing health crisis. As an only child it is now up to me to do everything possible to help them through this extremely trying and sad time.

Unfortunately my parents do not have insurance due to their age, and long list of existing conditions. And although I live in the UK, they live in Venezuela which has very poor public health services, and any type of health care is very expensive.

On the 14 of September my father suffered a stroke and was left paralyzed on his left side, necessitating full time nursing care. While in the hospital, to our great sadness, it was found that he also has prostate cancer which has spread to his lungs.

As my father is 83, has a very weak heart, and has suffered this stroke, he wouldn’t stand an intense cancer cure (chemo or surgical), so we are in a palliative stage to make him as comfortable as possible in the dawn of his life.
