Hello, my name is Jeffrey Anderson and I’m asking for some financial help. This year hasn’t been the easiest for my family and me, and I am hoping to just make it by. We recently bought a new house, and the kids love it out here. My job as a corrections officer is the steady income my family uses for bills and daily needs.

I recently left my shift at work to go to the hospital. I knew something was wrong, and they sent me home saying I was okay only 5 hours later. Later that night, I was rushed back to UPMC Passavant–McCandless where they determined that I shouldn’t have left and been discharged at all. In fact, I had appendicitis and needed immediate surgery. They stated I could be out of work roughly 1-3 weeks depending on how my body recovers. I can’t afford to be off and I’m coming to my friends and family asking for anything possible.

We don’t need people donating to hurt themselves financially, but even if you can share this to help us out, my family and I would greatly appreciate anything possible. I am the type of person that gives his shirt off his back to anyone in need; now I just ask to return the favor. Not just for me, for my children.
