A lot of you may not know, but my dad was undocumented and was taken by ICE on Wednesday morning while he was simply driving to work to provide for his family. Despite having U.S. citizen children and a wife, there was never a legal pathway available for him to become a citizen.

My dad is the kind of person who would help anyone in need. He paid his taxes, built a small business, and did nothing wrong except work hard to support his family and contribute to the U.S. economy. In every sense, he was living the American dream.

This has been a whirlwind for our family, and while we are grateful to have had him with us for so long, the road ahead is difficult. Without access to his bank accounts—and with him being our sole provider—we are in a very tough position. If you are able to donate to support his cause, we would be deeply and utterly grateful.
