مرحبًا، اسمي جميل من قطاع غزة المحاصر.

حُوصرت غزة لأكثر من سبع عشرة عامًا وشهدت خمسة حروب كانت هذه الحرب أكثرها شدة وصعوبة.

لم يبقَ في القطاع شيءٌ على حاله، كل ما وقعت عليه يد الاحتلال قُتِل ودُمّر.. شباب وشيبان، أطفال وشيوخ، نساء ورجال، مساكنُ وبيوت، جوامع وكنائس، مدارس وجامعات، حتى المستشفيات لم تسلم من همجية الاحتلال.

فقدت الكثير في هذه الحرب

الشبابُ أمثالي تكون مسؤولياتهم في ذروتها، بعمر الثلاث والعشرين يتوجّب لديك الكثير لفِعله.

ما جمعته في سنين ذهب في شهور.. ليس لدي الآن ما أستطيع أن أقف به على قدماي، لا جامعة أكمل فيها دراستي ولا فُرص عمل أستطيع أن أعوض بها ما فقدته.. كل السبُل قُطِعت وكل فرص العودة ذهبت.

بين أيديكم هذا الرابط لأجل ألّا تتجمّد سنوات عمري وأكمل ما بدأته.. لأجل أن أنجو وأخرج لأكمل مسيرتي الشابة والتعليمية .

Hello, my name is Jamil from the besieged Gaza Strip.

Gaza was besieged for more than seventeen years and witnessed five wars, of which this war was the most severe and difficult.

Nothing remained in the Gaza Strip as it was. Everything that fell into the hands of the occupation was killed and destroyed. Young men and women, children and the elderly, women and men, homes and houses, mosques and churches, schools and universities. Even hospitals were not spared from the barbarism of the occupation.

I lost a lot in this war

Young people like me have their responsibilities at their peak. At twenty-three you have a lot to do.

What I collected in years was gone in months.. I now have nothing with which I can stand on my feet, no university where I can complete my studies, and no job opportunities with which I can compensate for what I lost.. All paths have been cut off and all opportunities to return are gone.
