Got a sec? Read my post! ❤️

Where do I begin? So much to say, but I’ll keep it concise. My aunt, Cindy Howlett has had more than her fair share of challenging times this past number of years. Cindy’s husband Tony passed away 6 years ago leaving her and son Logan behind to pick up the pieces. They’ve carried on, difficult as it has been. Cindy’s health took a toll and she began kidney dialysis treatments 3x a week. After many hospital visits, doctor’s appointments etc. life settled somewhat back to normal.

Until Cindy was rushed to emergency surgery to have her leg amputated.

This lady owns her own home, but is currently residing in a nursing home until a wheelchair ramp can be built to permit her access to her home. While there are some provincial supports available, they are not near enough to outfit Cindy’s home to meet her current needs.

It’s a gut wrenching thought to think at 55 years of age you’re in a nursing home, once healthy and vibrant. However, Cindy’s a trooper, she’s a fighter, and wants to return to her home. We want to help her make that happen.

We are calling on family, friends & community should anyone wish to make a contribution, no matter the amount, our family would be forever grateful. Darlene White Donnie Earle & myself are spearheading fundraising efforts and we have plans in the works for the near future.

Life can change in an instant. Let’s help Cindy’s change for the better.
