Hello,

My name is Charlie and I am 14 years old. I am volunteering for 3 weeks in August-July 2024 for Project Africa.

We are going to Malawi where we will be helping local schools in the province we are staying at. We will be working on renovations, building schools, making bricks and many more activities. We call this "Young people helping young people". Whilst we are over there, apart from working on construction, we will also be helping local wildlife experts. This will include counting the number of animals, such as elephants, and working with the local community. This work is important because it gives children who are less fortunate than us, a chance to have the same opportunities as everyone else in life.

To support Project Africa and help it succeed, I need to raise £3,750. This will enable me to participate in this, once in a lifetime, opportunity and help us achieve our goals.
