Hi! My name is Leslie Gillies. This GoFundMe page is to help Marnie Williams-Plunkett during a very difficult time.
Marnie has run an at-home daycare for the last 28 years. She is, in my opinion (and all other families who have used her I’m sure!), one of the best caregivers in the area. Over the last week, she was forced to close her daycare permanently. This closure was completely unexpected for her. She is devastated and broken hearted that she has to stop doing what she loves. This has been her career for the last 28 years.
I have known Marnie and her family since I was 5 years old. Her oldest daughter is my best friend. Marnie has been such a pillar in the community. She is the kindest and most caring person that I have had the pleasure of knowing. She loved each and every one of her daycare children like they were her own. For all of you who know her, you know that she does not deserve to have this happen to her.
Please join me and the other parents who currently use Marnie for daycare (listed below) in raising money to help her get back on her feet as she figures out how to rejoin the workforce in a new area of work.
