Friends -
We have some difficult news to share. Our dear friend Kim Kuhn with her husband, Marcel and sons, Benny and Donnie by her side, has been bravely battling cancer since 2019. She stayed positive and never stopped working, even while going through chemotherapy, so she and Marcel can give their boys the best life possible. But cancer is relentless - and Kim's fight is now more difficult than ever. Time is precious. - She needs to step away from work now....to focus on her family. And she needs our help.
Please consider donating today to help give Kim the peace-of-mind her family will get through this time of financial hardship and to help provide some future funds for her boys so they can fulfill their dreams.
Kim's most important job is being mum to 15-year-old Benny and 12-year-old Donnie. She is so proud of her boys and their accomplishments. Benny is a 3rd dan black belt in Taekwondo and is working toward becoming a teacher at North Shore Taekwondo. Donnie is a highly skilled hockey goalie who just signed with the North Shore Warriors for the upcoming season. There is nothing that brings Kim more joy than watching her boys grow up and pursue their passions.
Kim is a hugely talented television producer and director and for the past several years, she has been co-producer on the Variety Show of Hearts Telethon. She is passionate about sharing the stories of BC's special kids and raising money to help them live better lives. It isn't just a job for Kim - she truly cares about these families and with her gift for visual storytelling and her compassion as a human, she has been instrumental in helping Variety raise millions of dollars.
Kim does so much for everyone else - and now it's time for us to do what we can for her.
Kim is not one to ask for help, in fact we tried to launch this GoFundMe a while ago, but she wasn't ready to put this out there. Now though, work is no longer an option and Marcel has also taken time off to take care of her and spend quality time together.
As you all know, Kim has always had such a positive spirit - but this is obviously a very tough time for the whole Kuhn family. I know it would give Kim comfort to know her boys will be taken care of and will be able to continue doing the things they love.
