Donate to help Kim and Derek get the girls back

Hi, my name is Kylie and I am helping Kim and Derek fundraise to help get custody of the girls back. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Kim, Derek, Kenzie and Ayven went through a really ugly custody battle just over a year ago now. If any of you have ever been through the family court system or know someone who has, you know that this can be an extremely traumatic experience, and they don’t always get it right. When it comes to this family, the judge got it horribly wrong and Kim and Derek lost custody of the girls. Since that day, Kim has only seen her oldest kids once a week for a two hour supervised visit. The girls, as you can imagine going into their teen and tween years, are really starting to suffer.

Kim was hoping to sort out a new custody arrangement outside of the court system when things had cooled down, but her ex is not open to this at all. That leaves them with only one option… going back to court.

I personally have seen a huge decline in Kenzie’s mental health as the year has gone on and I believe Kim and Derek reapplying for a custody change is becoming dire. With Kim and Derek just welcoming a new baby of their own together, and just coming off of maternity leave, funds are in short supply. Can we all come together and donate to help support them get some custody of the girls back? I believe it is vital to the girls to have their mom and step dad in their lives. If any of you have any experience with Kim, you know that she is a fabulous Mom. One who deserves to get to see her children. And now, the girls are growing up not getting to watch their little brother grow up. We have to help this sweet family. They have been through enough!

The $6500 will cover a retainer for a new lawyer ($4000) and ($2500) will cover other paperwork and evidence gathering that needs to be done pre trial. Thank you in advance for your kind donations.
