Hi friends and family! My name is Hilary Jackson and I am creating this G0-Fund-Me on behalf of my sister Kasey Hosier and her husband Brennan. In September of 2013 my sister was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease called Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, also known as A-HUS. This disease attacks mainly her blood and kidneys, and has caused her to have seizures, high blood pressure, press syndrome, and endure dialysis and plasma transfusions. There is no cure for this disease, and she must take medication infused through a port for the rest of her life in order to maintain kidney function. With these complications, Kasey is not able to carry children at the advice of her medical team in fear of life-threatening complications to her and her child. Kasey and Brennan after years of research and prayer have decided to go through in-vitro fertilization via a surrogate. The expenses for in-vitro and surrogacy are extremely high. To know Kasey and Brennan individually and as a couple is to love them. Kasey dedicates her life to serving children in the Coweta County school district as a therapist. They would make excellent parents, and deserve all of the blessings that come with parenthood. The child they would raise would be brought up in a home overflowing with love and would become another arrow in the quiver Psalm 127:4-5.
