Hi, my name is Wendy and I’m fundraising for 8 year old Kaia Jane Morrison. Kaia just lost her mother Cheyene Elizabeth Violet Morrison in a house fire in Kamsack, Saskatchewan April, 10th 2026. She lost her father two years ago. She is now an orphan and living with her great grandmother Lorna Morrison. Kaia has lived the majority of her life in Marathon, Ontario with her mother Cheyene. She is Cheyene’s only child and was the joy of her life. Cheyene had her struggles but she always loved her daughter with all her heart and soul. For people reading this fundraising request and have no knowledge of how precious and sweet Kaia is, I am here to raise awareness about her. My hope is that we can raise money for Kaia’s future and her immediate needs. She will need counseling and support as she grows up without parents. She will also need help with her future post secondary education and life’s unexpected expenses that happen. Please find it in your hearts to contribute what you can towards this child’s future. She has had enough tragedy in her short life already and we are hoping to alleviate some of her burden with some financial aid.
