I am starting this fundraiser in an effort to help my sister get back on her own two feet. As of writing this, she is over 7 months pregnant and has found herself out on her own. Without getting into the drama, she is no longer living with the father of her child and is now staying with me for the time being in my one-bedroom apartment.

The birth is coming in May, and she needs to be able to get from where I live in Raleigh, NC to Jacksonville, NC, two hours away. She does not have a job, nor is she able to get one given she is about to give birth. She has no car either, which is what we need help for. She needs to be able to get to Jacksonville, and I am unable to get her a car to use.

Her car has been totalled, as shown in the main picture.

Short term, we need to get her a car. Hopefully, that will be enough to support her through the birth, and then afterwards, the family is working on getting her settled in her own place. She is working on government assistance, but in terms of cars and housing, there is little that will help within the next two months. Any help will be greatly appreciated! These funds will go toward the purchase of a car and hopefully some basic, necessary maintenance, as well as insurance costs.
