Hi, to everyone taking the time to read this. I am starting this GoFundMe to try and help Jake McCracken get out of a pretty deep hole, of which a car crash just buried him further. This is to help him get back on his feet and continue to support his family.

Jake is a disabled veteran as part of the US Navy. If you have not met Jake, he is a great guy and would give you the shirt off his back. He is the sole income for his family, being himself, his wife Michelle, and his granddaughter Clara, that they have been raising since almost birth.

They have had a very difficult go of it since Covid, which started a downward spiral. Jake works extremely hard at his job but is now unable to get to work as his car may be totaled. At minimum, it will require major repairs if it is not. He contacted his insurance to file a claim, which he was told, "that car does not have full coverage."

He will not be happy with airing this, but he has just had bad luck continually, regardless of how hard he works. He has currently depleted his savings due to Covid expenses, and now has no car to get to work and can't afford to get a replacement.

Most people in our various race series know Jake McCracken, our crew chief for Baller Racing Team, but more importantly, a close friend who has become part of my family!

He never asks for help and even I didn't know things were this dire.

Any help you can provide, no matter how little, will be a huge help!
